The Adventures Of Priscilla, The Queen Of The Desert is an Australian film released in 1994 about two transvestites and a transsexual who do drag queen shows to Abba songs in the the hinterlands of Australia.
Priscilla is the name they give to their tour bus which has a penchant for breaking down in the middle of no where.
This movie is part drama, part comedy, part musical with an off beat story. It did win an Academy Award in 1995 for best costume design.
I found it mildly entertaining. If you would find three drag queens fighting and snipping at each other funny and interesting as they travel around the outback of Australia in a tour bus, you might like this film. Otherwise, I suggest you pass it over.
