Bert Sacks case going to U.S. Supreme Court
February 04, 2007
Amy Goodman, host of Democracy Now, interviewed Bert Sacks on 01/23/07 regarding his refusal to pay a $10,000.00 fine for bringing medicine to Iraqi children in 1997 when the U.S. sanctions apparently prohibited such humanitarian aid. It is estimated that over 500,000 Iraqi children died as a result of U.S. sanctions.
